CAR Website Launch
Cancer Action Rotherham (CAR) is a user involvement group made up of cancer patients, carers and clinicians who share one very simple goal – to do whatever they can to ensure that the people of Rotherham have the best cancer support services possible.
LINkrotherham has recently supported Cancer Action Rotherham to launch their website. It is hoped that the website will become an important and valued tool for the residents of Rotherham to access local information about cancer services. It will also give local people affected by cancer the opportunity to contact CAR for support and information.
Representatives from Macmillan Cancer, Rotherham NHS and Cancer Support Groups gave the thumbs-up to the new site, which also generated real interest from members of the public. The website was officially launched by Mayor Shaukat Ali.
