National Carers Week Survey

National Carers week will take place this year from 14-20th June.
The theme for 2010 is A life of my own and will enable carers to talk about the parts of life, that most of us take for granted, that they miss out on. This can include going out for a meal, going on holiday or even just relaxing in the evening with no worries or responsibilities.
If you are a carer and would like to give you opinion please complete the Carers Week survey which can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/carersweek2010. This is a secure address set up especially for this purpose. Please let other carers you know about the survey. If you or somebody you know would like to participate but cannot do it over the internet please call 0845 241 2582 for a paper version.
It is vital that carers tell Carers Week about their direct experience of caring and share personal stories of the stresses and strains; the ups and the downs of being a carer. This is a crucial part of their campaigning and activities during Carers Week, including work with professionals and politicians, and indeed all decision-makers.
