South Yorkshire Rural Network Meetings
14th December 2009
Rural Action Yorkshire are looking for members for new rural networks which are now being set up in South Yorkshire.
Networks are crucial to the survival of community groups who often face isolation due to their rural location. By working together, they can help to identify their support needs, including advice on funding, governance, property management and financial management. The networks will also ensure these groups are aware of what is available.
Being involved with the network will strengthen RAY’s voice with local authorities and other public service providers, by identifying challenges such as access to services, rural isolation and the economic down-turn.
For more information and to get involved please contact Melanie Swanwick on 01226 320120 or 07757 639929.
