An Expert by Experience is someone who uses services or who is a family carer. Click here to see flyer.
Experts by Experience work alongside CQC inspectors to carry out inspections of health, mental health and social care services. They are paid for the work they do.
What do you need to do become an Expert by Experience?
To become an Expert by Experience you need to have personal experience of using services or of caring for someone.
You will need to complete an application and personal profile form which we will send to you. We will also arrange a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check, ID badge and training for you.
