From LINks to HealthWatch – ‘A Powerful New Consumer Champion’

Proposals have been outlined by the advisory group for the development of HealthWatch, which will replace the existing LINks. As part of a broad vision of a patient-led NHS, these proposals cover:-
- What HealthWatch will be responsible for, locally and nationally, and how this will exceed the responsibilities of the LINks
- How LINks will evolve into HealthWatch and how will the Department of Health, the Care Quality Commission and Local Authorities work together to administrate the new body
- The roles and responsibilities of the programme board, the advisory group, the management group and each project.
