Decision time

When an issue, complaint or request for joint work is received by LINkrotherham it is taken to the LINk Governing Board who decide whether we will work on the issue or not.

If we decide to go ahead with a project then normally a task group is set up to work on the project.  Each task group is different some will meet face to face others will communicate by telephone or e-mail.  Some groups will only run for a couple of weeks, some for a couple of months and some for longer.

Laughton Common Project

Do you live in Laughton Common?

Do you find it easy to get to your Doctors or Dentist?

Laughton Common is a small but growing village near Dinnington.  The area includes a mix of residential areas and industrial areas.  Laughton Common does not have many local facilities and people have to travel to Dinnington or the surrounding area to visit GP and Dental services.

LINkrotherham is working jointly with The Laughton Common TARA (Tenants and Residents Association) and the local Heritage pharmacy to carry out a piece of research to determine whether Laughton Common now justifies some form of GP and/or Dental provision within the village.

Residents will be asked to complete a questionnaire to determine the type of provision that would be acceptable.  In addition LINkrotherham will be hosting well being sessions at a central location where people will be able to access various health and social care services.
