About LINkrotherham

LINkrotherham was launched on 23rd October 2008 and is a completely independent way for the people of Rotherham to express their opinions on local health and social services and influence how these services are delivered.

LINkrotherham is a network of local people, organisations and community groups.

The job of a LINk is to find out what people like and dislike about local services and to work with the people who plan and run them to help make them better.

What is LINkrotherham?

LINkrotherham aims to provide the people of Rotherham with a way to express their opinions on local health and social services and allow them to work with service providers to influence how services are delivered.

LINkrotherham will:-

  • Give local people the opportunity to say what they think about local health and social care services
  • Include the whole community to find out their views
  • Help people to work with service providers to develop new ideas
  • Give local communities a way to check that the health and social care services in Rotherham are the best they can be and to hold service providers accountable if they are not
  • Work with NHS Rotherham and the Council to build local peoples views in policies and plans
